Which voice use cases for smartcities? VOICE SUMMIT 2019
Talk by Sabrina Delale at Voice Summit 2019 (NJIT - Newark)Since 2018, the VOICE SUMMIT brings together voice technology professionals and industry players (Amazon, Samsung, Microsoft, Salesforce, ...) once a year in Newark, USA. This event is the largest conference dedicated to these technologies in the world.
The second edition, held in July 2019, brought together 5,000 participants from 26 different countries. The #VoiceFirst community was again gathered to share the latest innovations, best practices, feedback on different use cases (Smart city, Healthcare, Automotive, Travel, Retail ...).
Designing Smart Cities for Positive Impact We presented vocal perspectives for the smart city and our experience in designing and developing the first vocal application for a French city before continuing with Archana Vemulapalli on the issues and success factors for voice integration in the development of smart cities. Archana Vemulapalli served as CTO for Washington, DC for several years. She is now General Manager, Infrastructure Services Offering Strategy, Management and Development for IBM
